World language courses offered at Eastern Regional High School are currently aligned with the 2020 New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. World language courses at Eastern Regional High School are developed to prepare students for careers and college aligned with the mission of the 2009 Core Curriculum Content Standards.

The study of another language and culture enables individuals, whether functioning as citizens or workers, to communicate face-to-face and by virtual means in appropriate ways with people from diverse cultures.
