The NJDOE requires schools to give all 9th grade students the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment (NJSLA) in ELA and math. This assessment will be given April 26 - 29, 2022. A passing score on these assessments can be used as an alternate graduation requirement only if the student takes the NJGPA when they are in the 11th grade.The NJDOE also requires schools to administer the NJSLA - science assessment to all 11th grade students. This assessment will be given April 26 - 29, 2022.
For the NJSLA - ELA, Math and Science assessments, only the students who are testing on those days will report to school at 7:30am. All other students will report to school on a delayed opening schedule beginning at 9:45 AM. Transportation will be provided at both times for those students..

All tests are digital and will be taken on the student’s iPads. On those days that a student is testing, it is mandatory that students bring their fully charged iPad and their charger to school with them. Replacement devices will not be provided. Students are encouraged to bring their own wired headphones for testing.
