    Students attending Eastern Regional High School will be immersed in a science curriculum, developed by our experienced faculty, based on the New Jersey Student Learning Standards and the Next Generation Science Standards.  The science department works collaboratively to discover and develop engaging instructional strategies to connect the curriculum to students' lives.  

    Our Vision for Science Education at Eastern:

    • Students will be inspired to ask questions about how things work.
    • Students will be challenged to apply science content to problems and questions beyond the classroom lesson.
    • Students will demonstrate their knowledge and skills through a variety of high-quality assessments, developed to show/measure their growth.

  • Students have the opportunity to participate in the US Biology and US Chemistry Olympiad as well as the Science League Club.  Students are encouraged to check with their teachers for more information.
